Guide to use QAL instead of Unknown Sources

Google, to download: quest_app_hub_1.2.0.apk

QAH is an app launcher for Quest, built to seamlessly integrate into its UI.
You can pair it with Keymapper in order to launch it from a physical volume button!

You can freely add, edit and rearrange shortcuts on your Quest and even pick custom cover images. It will automatically apply QAL's cover images if found (no need to have QAL installed).

Copy the game covers found in your <Rookie's Installation Folder> /thumbnails to the Quest App Hub folder and autofill will detect them!

• For file picking to work, you need to have a file manager.

  • Try: MiXplorer [ via apkmirror.com/pishrodevs ]

Install it via Rookie and open it from Unknown Sources.

Keymapper to open launcher by pressing a button

Keymapper is a general Android app to let you do things by clicking buttons. It is for all Android devices in general, and we can use it to open the launcher from anywhere.

Steps:

1. (Download) Google this: VRP keymapper.apk
   + Download Quest 1? Google this: VRP settings_q1.apk
   + Download Quest 2? Google this: VRP settings_q2.apk

2. Sideload both (keymapper + settings) APKs [using RSL or any method]

3. Launch Keymapper from Unknown Sources and start going through the wizard

4. Enable the accessibility service

5. Turn off battery optimization
