We’re a tech savy generation, from around and creating on The Oculus Quest (or Quest 2), a VR headset that runs Android. It also supports being used like a monitor, which is also known as a "head-mounted display" (HMD).
"HMD" or "Steam" mean that you are dealing with PCVR which (you guessed it) only run on a PC. PCVR experiences are commonly sold on Steam and Oculus apps
“Standalone” or "Sideloading / APK" specifically deal with Android. Sideloading isn't necessarily installing pirated content, although pirated content do need to be sideloaded. *fyi : Sideloaded content can be found under Unknown Sources in your Quest's app library. StandaloneVR experiences are sold on Oculus.com, Oculus App Lab via unlisted links, or third party websites like itch.io or developer websites.
